Sunday 5th October: Whatstandwell – Crich Stand – Lea – Holloway
9.5 miles – Start at 10:15am from the pay & display car park at Whatstandwell station – Grid ref. SK 333 541 – Post code: DE4 5EE – W3W: ///grief.happier.unfilled – The walk will be passing the free car park where the B5035 crosses the canal about 10 min. later, if you can find a space – Picnic lunch with a café stop near the end of the walk at Holloway or Whatstandwell – Walk leader Ashley.
Note: a train from Nottingham via Derby arrives at 10:20. If you do want to travel to the walk by train, please contact Ashley beforehand so that he knows to wait for you.
Sunday 12th October: Cromford – Riber – Tansley – Lea Bridge

Sunday 19th October: Shipley – Visitor Centre – Whiteleys Plantation – The Bungalow – Mapperley Reservoir – Derby Lodge
8 miles – Start at 10:30am from Pit Lane in Shipley – Off the A6007 between Ilkeston and Heanor – On street parking – Grid ref. Tuesday 21st October: Allestree Park – Markeaton – Quarndon (Footloose Extra)
8.5 miles (7 mile option) – Start at 10:30am from Burley Hill car park (free) in Allestree Park – Turn off the A6 between Allestree and Duffield – Car park is up a drive at the top of the hill – Grid ref.
