Sunday 13th September: Brackenfield – Wheatcroft – Crich – Morwood Moor – Wessington
Approx. 7.5 miles, with 975 feet of ascent – Start at 10:15am from the circular seat under a tree on the village green in Brackenfield – On road parking around the green – SK 367 589 – DE55 6AR – ///reseller.radiating.nozzle – Picnic lunch – Walk leader John.
Tuesday 15th September: Belper Area (Footloose Extra)
7.4 miles with 2 hills but not too difficult – Start at at 10:30am from Belper Bridge in front of the weir, next to North Mill – SK 345 481 – DE56 1YD – ///multiply.tutored.chatters – The car park at the mill (accessed from the A517) now appears to be free, as the signage and pay machines have been removed – The council operated River Gardens car park (accessed from the A6) is pay & display – Picnic lunch – Tea afterwards at the café in the River Gardens – This walk will be at a gentle pace, with several breathing stops – Walk leader Kath R.
Sunday 20th September: Heath – Five pits – Temple Normanton – Sutton Scarsdale

Sunday 27th September: Great Hucklow – Bradwell Edge – Abney Moor – Bretton Clough
8 miles (380m climb) – Start at 10:30am near the bench opposite the old chapel in Great Hucklow – SK 178 779 – SK17 8RG – ///button.curable.relatives – Picnic Lunch -The Queen Anne pub is, unfortunately, permanently closed from July 2026 – Yonderman cafe closes at 3pm – So no café or pub – Walk leader Paul G.
