Winter walks may be cancelled due to bad weather – snow, ice, heavy rain, fog etc. In the event of such weather, please look out for updates both here and on What’s App, or contact the walk leader before setting out.

Sunday 9th January: Tideswell – Cressbrook – Millers Dale – Tideswell Dale

Approx. 8 miles – Start at 10:30am from outside St. John the Baptist church in Tideswell – Grid ref. SK 152 757 – Post code: SK17 8PA – Free on-street car parking nearby – Picnic lunch – Walk leader John.

Sunday 16th January: Monsal Trail – Longstone Moor – Footloose Memorial Sign – Rowland

Approx. 8 miles – Start at 10:15am from Hassop station car park on the Monsal Trail – Grid ref. SK 217 705 – Post code: DE45 1NW – There is a car park charge here of £4 .75 for the day – Picnic lunch – Walk leader Jean R.

Tuesday 18th January: Southwell Area (Footloose Extra)

7.5 miles with a few ups and downs – Start at 10.30am from outside Halam Church (near Southwell) – Grid ref. SK 677 543 – Post code: NG22 8AQ – Street parking – Picnic lunch – Possibility for tea afterwards at Hollybeck garden centre – Walk leader Sally.

Sunday 23rd January: Whatstandwell – Bolehill – Lea

8 miles – Start at 10.15am from Whatstandwell railway station on the A6 – Pay for parking at the station (£1.50), or park in the village – Picnic lunch – There are a couple of cafés where we may be able to get takeaway drinks – Walk leaders Paul and Jo.

Sunday 30th January: Longshaw – Gorge(ous) Moors and Tors!
