Winter walks may be cancelled due to bad weather – snow, ice, heavy rain, fog etc. In the event of such weather, please look out for updates both here and on WhatsApp, or contact the walk leader before setting out.

9 miles – Start at 10am outside Café 19 @ White’s at Calver Crossroads, Calver Sough – Note early start time to catch the daylight – Grid ref. Sunday 18th January: Calton – Throwley Hall – Beeston Tor – Wetton – Manifold Trail – Old Soles Wood
About 9.5 miles and just over 1400 feet ascent/descent, including one fairly sharp ascent after Beeston Tor – Start at 10:15am from outside St Mary’s Memorial Hall in Calton, west of Ashbourne – Post code ST10 3JX – Grid ref.
