Sunday 3rd April: White Lodge – Deep Dale – Taddington – High Dale – Monsal Dale

Sunday 10th April: Winster – Limestone Way – Bonsall – Leys Farm – Winster

Approx. 9 miles – Start at 10:30am from outside the National Trust’s Winster Market House – Postcode DE4 2DJ – On street parking – Lunch stop will be at St. James’s Church at Bonsall where homemade soup, cheese and ham butties, cakes and tea and coffee are being served inside the church – All items £1 each – Alternatively the Fountain Tearoom is at the bottom of the hill or bring a picnic lunch – Walk leader Nick.

Easter Sunday 17th April: Calton Lees – Chatsworth Grounds – Wellington’s Monument – Baslow

9 Miles – Start at 10:30am from Calton Lees car park, Chatsworth Estate – Car parking fee £5 (card only at gate) – Grid Ref. SK 258 685 – Car park is on the main road (B6012) that passes through Chatsworth, a short distance from Beeley – Picnic lunch at Wellington`s Monument and pub or coffee shop stop in Baslow – Walk leader Ashley.

For those that are interested, there is a rather weird but interesting set of statues being exhibited in the Chatsworth grounds, which have just been installed and will last until the late summer.  It is marketed as the “Burning Man event” – Radical Horizons: The Art of Burning Man at Chatsworth – It looks as if we will pass at least some of them on the walk.

Tuesday 19th April: Nottingham Canal – Erewash Canal – Bennerley Viaduct – Cossall (Footloose Extra)

6 miles – Start at 10:30am from the southernmost of the two car parks on the road from Trowell to Cossall – Grid ref. SK 483 412 – W3W: ///magic.stole.input – Free parking – Picnic Lunch – Tea and cakes available afterwards at Trinity Farm Shop & Café – Walk leader John.

Walk across the 1452ft long Bennerley viaduct, 60ft above the River Erewash – One of only two wrought iron railway viaducts remaining in the UK – Recently opened to walkers and cyclists after restoration.

Sunday 24th April: Longnor – Hollinsclough – Chrome Hill – Earl Sterndale – High Wheldon – Longnor
