Sunday 7th June: Ogston – Brackenfield – Highoredish – Woolley

7.6 miles, 900ft of ascent – Start at 10:30am from the north car park at Ogston Reservoir – Free parking – On the B6014 between Stretton and Tansley – SK 376 610 – DE55 6FN – ///hunk.limped.picture – Picnic lunch on the green at Brackenfield – Walk leader Louise.

Tuesday 16th June: Beeston – Attenborough – Sawley (Footloose Extra)

7.5 flat miles (12ft of ascent!) – Linear walk by the River Trent – Return by train – Start at 11am from the footpath behind platform 2 at Beeston station – SK 534 362 – NG9 2AB – ///minus.down.shift – Paid parking at the station, free parking on nearby roads in Rylands – Through trains from Matlock, Burton, Derby, Lowdham, Carlton etc – Lunch in the café at Attenborough Nature Reserve – Picnic tables outside – Walk leader John.

There are three trains per hour back from Long Eaton to Beeston. With a railcard, the single fare is £2.05, without it’s £3.10. If it’s more convenient to park at Long Eaton, do so in time to catch the 10:30am Matlock to Lincoln service, which the leader will be travelling on from Belper, to Beeston.

Sunday 21st June: Brassington – Bradbourne – Parwich – Ballidon

8.5 miles – With some steep hills back to Brassington from Parwich – Start at 10:15am from outside St James Church, Church Street, Brassington – On street parking – SK 230 543 – DE4 4HJ – ///amphibian.collide.cartoons – Picnic lunch at Parwich – Walk leader Nick

Sunday 28th June: Eyam – Leadmill – River Derwent

8.5 miles approximately – Start at 10:15am from the free car park (donations requested) behind the pay & display car park, opposite the museum on Hawkhill Road in Eyam – SK 216 767 – S32 5QP –  ///dragons.overhear.nodded – Picnic lunch – There will be a stop at the David Mellor cafe around lunchtime – Walk leader Jean R.
