Holmfirth, West Yorkshire – 12th to 15th May 2023

Walks are planned for all 4 days, a short one on the Friday, a shorter one on the Monday. A meal will be arranged in a Holmfirth curry house on the Saturday. Feel free to come for all or some of the walks. Holmfirth is within day-trip distance. Organiser and walk leader: Helen

Friday 12th:  5.3 miles Holmfirth – Upperthong – Hinchliffe Mill

Saturday 13th: 10.25 miles Wessenden Head – Black Hill – Dean Head Moss – Black Moss Reservoir – Wessenden Reservoir

Saturday Evening Meal: Bengal Spice @ 6:30pm

Sunday 14th: Either a 9.4 or 8 mile walk

Longer walk: 9.4 miles Dunford Bridge – Winscar Reservoir – Route of Woodhead Tunnels – Longdendale Trail – South Nab

Shorter walk: 8 miles Windle Edge – Rout of Woodhead Tunnels – Longdendale Trail – South Nab

Monday 15th: 7.7 miles Honley – Brockholes – Farley Tyas – Castle Hill Tower – Armitage Bridge

Back up walk in case of inclement weather on the Saturday/Sunday: 6 miles Holmfirth – Cartworth Moor
