SUNDAY 5th JANUARY: BIRCHEN EDGE – WHITE EDGE – FROGGATT EDGE
Approx. 8 miles – Start at 10.30 at Birchen Edge car park next to the Robin Hood Inn – This is free for National Trust members but pay and display otherwise – Bring a packed lunch – Walk leader Jean R. – If the weather is inclement then we may decide to do a low level walk around Chatsworth Estate – Note that the Robin Hood Inn is often shut around this time of year.
SUNDAY 12th JANUARY: MILLDALE – THE NABS – TISSINGTON TRAIL – COLDEATON – ALSTONEFIELD – STANSHOPE – HALL DALE
Approx. 8.5 miles with 1800 ft of ascent – Start at 10.30 in Milldale Car Park in mid Dovedale off the A515 (GR 138547) – Some steep and potentially slippery ascents and descents – Bring packed lunch – Possible late drink stop in Alstonefield – Walk leader Richard B.
SUNDAY 19th JANUARY: RISLEY – STANTON BY DALE – HERMIT’S CAVE – DALE ABBEY
Approx. 8 miles – Start at Risley church at 10:30 – Bring packed lunch – There will be a stop at the Cowshed Tearoom, Dale Abbey – Walk Leader Peter T.
TUESDAY 21st JANUARY: BELPER – AMBERGATE (FOOTLOOSE EXTRA)

SUNDAY 26th JANUARY: CROMFORD – RIBER
Approx 9 miles – Start at 10.30 from Cromford church (GR: SK 299 572) – Choice of Pay & Display car parks or limited roadside parking – Bring picnic lunch – Possible drink stop in Lea – Walk leaders Kathy and Ian.
NOTE: The road between Lea Bridge and Cromford has been closed following a landslip which may affect travel to this walk. Access from the A6 at Cromford, or via Starkholmes, is unaffected.
